DESCRIPTION:Activities\nI have 2-3 activities\, and then if anyone wants to chat after\, they can. \nLet’s meet at Comanche Overlook Park for the following: \n\nMusic Meditation – I have some musical instruments we can use to wind down and meditate for a bit. Bring a towel\, blanket\, or chair\, and we can sit or lay on the ground in a circle while and sound meditate. I kind of have a preference to be on the ground more than a chair to be closer to the earth\, but it is totally up to you.\nGroup Reiki – After some time to meditate\, we can pivot to channel reiki as a group. (I normally do this individually on a table\, but it can be done in a group setting just as well\, plus I don’t have to carry around a table.)\nGroup Mediumship Practice – Bring a photo of someone\, or if you can’t get a photo / don’t want people touching your photo\, write down their name on a note card… it is the intention that counts. The person can be living or dead. We can shuffle up the cards and try channeling anything for that person named on the card. Note: with mediumship\, you can make a call\, but that doesn’t guarantee they will pick up the line. Halloween season is globally seen as the best time to see or hear ghosts\, as the veil between the spirit world and living is the thinnest. Actually\, I once saw god in an astral project on that day (and did not believe in god)\, so if we have any shot at hearing from ghosts\, late October is the time.\n\nLocation\nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/eEJpHDFYLvrHkD2UA \nI have not personally been to this park before\, so it will be new to me too. There is always a chance I may bring my tarot cards\, but it depends on if I want to haul that around too. \n \n \nHistory\n“Comanche” is the word for the enemy\, or the ones who attack us all the time. It is what the Ute’s called the Nʉmʉnʉʉ tribe and the name that is used by the US Government. This spot was once Apache Territory\, then Nʉmʉnʉʉ territory\, then European territory.

DESCRIPTION:Plan to view of the solar eclipse that will span across the Texas Hill Country and San Antonio on October 14\, 2023. Watch the eclipse from your own yard\, or go to a city or state park\, or even tube on the Medina or Guadalupe river. If you are in San Antonio\, basically anywhere will be a good spot to look at the eclipse\, but being a bit closer to the southwest of San Antonio puts you closer to the center line of the eclipse path. Other ideas to see the eclipse\, San Pedro Springs Park (free city park)\, New Ingram Dam (public domain river)\, the dried up Medina Lake Bed (public domain river)\, Government Canyon State Park\, Garner State Park… or be like my family and enter on the public domain part of the Rio Frio river and park on the side of the road\, or English Crossing (public domain river). The April 2024 eclipse is the one you can pull your glasses off during totality.

You are welcomed to bring a meditative musical instrument if you want. \nI find receiving reiki to be a relaxing\, pleasant\, and invigorating experience. I hope you will get something from the event to. In case you do not know exactly what reiki is\, it is energy work where someone consciously channels energy from source to a person (or event/place). Even if you do not feel anything energetically\, it should be a meditative experience for you at least. \n\nI will lug out my massage table.\nThe venue has comfy chairs\, plus normal ones.\nIf you want to bring an eye mask cover or bandana to cover your eyes\, you may. SUMMARY:Group Reiki in the Park - Hot Seat Focus
DESCRIPTION:There are many ways to receive reiki: remotely\, in a collective group\, to yourself. In this case\, we will be doing it in-person. \nPlease join me in this reiki share event. Whether you are formerly attuned to reiki\, just curious\, or wanting some practice\, please come out and join us. \nI will be channeling reiki for the person in the hot seat. I imagine everyone will get a chance to be the focus of the energy as we trade places. I encourage anyone else who does energy work\, with the permission of the person in question\, to also channel reiki for the person in the middle. \nI will also bring my singing bowl\, rain maker\, and ocean drum\, if anyone would like to use those during the reiki share. You are welcomed to bring a meditative musical instrument if you want. \nI find receiving reiki to be a relaxing\, pleasant\, and invigorating experience. I hope you will get something from the event to. In case you do not know exactly what reiki is\, it is energy work where someone consciously channels energy from source to a person (or event/place). Even if you do not feel anything energetically\, it should be a meditative experience for you at least. \nThis is a public park.\n–I will try to lug out my massage table.\n–Please bring your own chair\, or blanket\, as you will probably want a place to sit.\n–I will bring an eye mask cover (like the kind people use to sleep) and tissues\, but if you don’t like sharing things\, you are welcomed to bring your own eye mask cover\, or a bandana or something to cover your eyes from the sun as you relax. \nI have not been to this park since the pandemic\, but I do remember some picnic tables near the pond. I will try to set up there as there was a good amount of shade. I will update the event scope or post a comment to help with any other descriptive directions; feel free to message me if you need help making your way around. I will wait a few minutes for stragglers\, but it will basically be impossible to check my phone when I start channeling. \nEvent is free\, but if you can tip $5\, that would be greatly appreciated. It cost money to hold a MeetUp Host account\, so putting some of your energy to supporting the group let’s the universe know you value the group.
